The following is a glossary of some of the terms commonly used in the digital time setting process. Please be advised that in explaining these terms we place an emphasis on how the topic relates to the overall process of data as evidence - data as testimony that meets legal, regulatory and industry standards. As a result, some of the definitions raise specific issues as to evidence and court admissibility rather than focusing on pure technology issues.
